Chris has been with Tundra for over 6 years, and is an integral part of our Accounting Team in Calgary! He has lived in 5 different Canadian locations, has a huge heart, and never fails to have an interesting story on demand. Chris’ team describes him as hard working and supportive, and we appreciate everything he does for us.
We connected with Chris and asked him to answer some personal questions about himself. Here is what we found:

My role is Project Accounting, Month-end Financial Statements, and Financial analysis.
What do you do at Tundra, and in what circumstance would I come to you?
Report on the status of the major projects that Tundra does; prepare and analyze monthly financials. I’m also the ‘unofficial’ SAP go to person for help.
How do you prefer to start your day?
As late as possible!
What is your most loved local restaurant?
The Park, in Calgary. It’s walking distance from my home.
What energizes you at work?
Coffee, and the occasional BottleCap candies!
What trend do you hope makes a comeback?
Arcades… it would take me back to my misspent youth.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Jet Fighter pilot!
What is your favourite thing to cook?
I don’t cook, I can burn boiling water! It’s a good thing I’m married.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Experience is a cruel teacher, but you learn, boy do you learn.
What is your home town and where do you currently live?
I say Fort Saskatchewan – Junior High and High School; but was born in Truro, Nova Scotia, and have lived all over Canada – Nova Scotia, Baffin Island, Yellowknife, and Alberta.

Definitely the people and the culture of the company.
Thanks, Chris, for all that you do!
