Tundra & Wajax (Northpoint) hosted an informative session on motors, called ‘Motors – Operation, Construction & Repair’. In addition to motor theory of operation, the discussion also covered motor types and construction from the terminal box, through rotor, stator, mechanical seals, fans, enclosure types and interpretation of name plate ratings.
Following the motor overview, Wajax took the time to tour the audience through a virtual motor rewind process – addressing the service and repair of critical rotating equipment.
