Shawntel has been with Tundra for less than a year but is the type of person that makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever! She works out of Tundra’s Edmonton office as a Project Coordinator in the Valves & Actuation division and we appreciate her sense of humor, and ‘get it done’ attitude!
We connected with Shawntel and asked her to answer some personal questions about herself, and here is what we found:
What do you do at Tundra?
I’m in charge of managing some of the projects that come our way in the Valves & Actuation Division.
What is your go-to productivity trick?
Take a walk! The change in scenery helps reset the mind!
What energizes you at work?
Music! … And coffee!
What is the first concert you ever went to?
Brittney! When ‘ Hit Me Baby One More Time’ was released!
What trend do you hope makes a comeback?
Retro things are already coming back (Yussssss), but I want fanny packs and cat eye glasses to stay!
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Being more minimalistic, I find that I’m less stressed when things are simpler.
Is there a book that has impacted your life?
‘The Female Brain’ by Louann Brizendine
If you could give one-piece advice to a 10-year-old you, what would it be?
You are more scared of yourself than any answer or outcome you may get. You’ve already thought of the worst and prepared for it, but you didn’t see the best coming. It will surprise you in the best way!
What is your home town and where do you currently live?
I was born and raised in Edmonton and still living here!
What do you enjoy most about working at Tundra?
I enjoy the people I work with, it’s an amazing group we have here at Tundra.
Thank you for your hard work and everything you add to the team, Shawntel!
